Since its establishment in 2012, PMV Vegetarian Shop began its culinary journey with the warm and comforting taste of Mom’s homemade pumpkin mantou. Although there was only one flavor at the time, its authentic “homemade taste” quickly won the hearts of customers.
Every Step of Innovation and Dedication
· 2013
Building on the traditional pumpkin mantou, we boldly experimented and developed two new flavors: Japanese matcha and organic black sesame. At the time, our mantou retained the classic rolled shape, serving not just as a filling snack but also as a nostalgic reminder of home.
· 2014
To offer healthier mantou options, we began using high-quality French flour and incorporated natural ingredients such as raisins, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. By introducing natural yeast and brown sugar, we achieved a chewy texture that perfectly balances health and flavor.
· 2015
The mantou evolved from traditional rolled shapes to delicate rose-shaped designs. This refined appearance, coupled with wholesome ingredients, attracted a loyal following and laid the foundation for the Jing Si Vegetarian brand.

As people’s quality of life improved and health awareness grew, we introduced egg-free, colorant-free, and flavoring-free pumpkin kaya spread. Paired with toasted mantou, it offered a fresh and wholesome take on healthy indulgence.
